Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The National Lacrosse League season starts in 10 days, and today we break down the East Division. Rochester has what it takes to repeat as division champ. Tom Schreiber’s return to health bodes well for Toronto. How will the Philadelphia Wings fare in their return to play?

The Wings, incidentally, have partnered with US Lacrosse on a combo ticket to two great events Jan. 12 in Philadelphia. Fans can get a general admission ticket to LaxCon’s Fan Fest, which begins at 11 a.m., and a reserved seat to the 7 p.m. Wings-Swarm game for just $23, a savings of 35 percent vs. purchasing separately.

Speaking of the NLL, with expansion teams in the offing, several existing franchises held player combines to identify under-the-radar talent. Here are three drills that scouts use to help find diamonds in the rough.

And while we’re on the subject of expansion:

2. As I approach the over/under for milkshakes I would demolish following a Monday dental procedure, I see from former Stony Brook and current WPLL star Kylie Ohlmiller that there’s a healthier way to satisfy a sweet tooth.

3. The Boston Cannons are taking aim at the suburbs; specifically, Quincy, Mass.:

The Cannons’ new home for 2019 can accommodate more than 5,000 fans, which should provide for a better gameday atmosphere than 30,000-seat Harvard Stadium did.

4. Depression can be insidious and debilitating. Florida defender Makenzie Mason lives it and fights it, and she talked about it in depth on espnw.com. Keep fighting.
