Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The PLL Top 50 players, as voted by the players, has moved into Top 10 territory with Trevor Baptiste (Atlas) at No. 5, Blaze Riorden (Chaos) at No. 6, Marcus Holman (Archers) at No. 7, Jordan Wolf (Chrome) at No. 8, Matt Dunn (Whipsnakes) at No. 9 and Matt Kavanagh (Redwoods) at No. 10.

2. Denver freshman and U.S. U19 training team member Alec Stathakis brings the thunder to the faceoff position. The Culver product was Inside Lacrosse’s No. 1 faceoff prospect in the class of 2019.

3. Sad news out of Philadelphia as LaSalle announced that junior Brittany Stevens died on Sunday at the age of 20. The Catonsville, Md., native started 12 games her first two years with the Explorers.

4. Behind-the-scenes access is one of the perks of working at US Lacrosse. Our magazine editor, Matt DaSilva, shares some of his favorite memories of working with the U.S. national teams.
