Good morning. Here’s the latest around the lacrosse world:

1. The once-winless Chaos are moving on to the semifinals.

Despite entering the elimination round of the Premier Lacrosse League Championship Series without a win at 0-4, the Chaos came alive and earned a 19-14 win over the upstart Chrome.

Josh Byrne (four goals, three assists), Dhane Smith (three goals, three assists) and Jake Froccaro (two two-pointers) led the charge. Connor Fields did not play, and coach Andy Towers did not address his absence.

The Redwoods, another underperforming offensive team, stepped up with Sergio Perkovic held to just a single point. Myles Jones, Ryder Garnsey and Brent Adams propelled the Woods to an 11-8 win over the Waterdogs.

In the late game, the Archers rode the hot hand of Tom Schreiber to an 11-9 win over the Atlas.

Here are the semifinal matchups. Both games will be Thursday.
