1. There were seven Division I games Tuesday, and there weren’t any major surprises.

2. The heavy hitters of the Northeast made a statement last week, solidifying their respective positions in the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Boys’ National Top 25.

St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) crushed a strong Delbarton (N.J.) team, leaving the Friars firmly at No. 1.

3. The same top four occupies the top of the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25.

St. Paul’s (Md.) was pushed to the brink against Bryn Mawr (Md.), but St. Paul’s rallied to force overtime and win and maintained its No. 1 standing in the process.

4. Bracketology is back.

Regular-season conferences races are heating up, and with a coveted automatic qualifier on the line, teams can ditch the narratives surrounding resumes or RPIs if they just win their conferences.

On the men’s side, Patrick Stevens examines the curious case of the ACC. Once an easy multi-bid conference, the ACCs RPI data is not as strong as it’s been in recent memory.

On the women’s side, Jeremy Fallis explains how conference tournament bans for James Madison and Stony Brook have added another wrinkle to the Selection Committee’s responsibilities.

5. Another school is making the jump from Division II to Division I.

Stonehill College will reclassify to Division I and has accepted an invitation to join the Northeast Conference starting in 2022-23, the school announced Tuesday. All 23 sports, including women’s lacrosse, are making the move.
