Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Boston College and Syracuse won in blowout fashion.

Emily Hawryschuk had her best game of the 2022 season, tallying seven goals and four assists to lead Syracuse to 20-9 victory over Cornell on Tuesday night. Meaghan Tyrrell chipped in three goals and three assists in the win. For Boston Collge, Jenn Medjid scored five times in a 17-1 victory over Harvard on Tuesday afternoon.

Elsewhere, Penn State ended a four-game losing streak with a 15-7 victory over Pitt behind six points from Taylor Regan.

2. Jake Taylor and Pat Kavanagh stayed hot against Marquette.

Taylor, who saw his first start less than two weeks ago, dropped five goals to lead Notre Dame to the 18-8 win over the Golden Eagles. Kavanagh chipped in two goals and three assists.

Also in men’s action, Marist picked up a win over NJIT on a James Lyons overtime game-winner.

3. Ned Crotty calls it a career.

The two-time U.S. national team gold medalist and hero of the 2010 world championship game announced his retirement on Tuesday. He was the first pick of the 2010 MLL Draft and competed for Chrome LC in the PLL.

4. Carley Adams anchored a weekend sweep for Arizona State.

Adams dropped six goals and six assists in victories over Stanford and Cal in a tight Pac-12 race. For her efforts, she earned USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Women’s Player of the Week. Click here for more.

5. Brett Dobson is making teams fear St. Bonaventure.

Dobson, one of the top goalies in the nation, lived up to that title last week, made 21 saves and allowed just three goals in a victory over Monmouth. He’s the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Men’s Player of the Week. Click here for more.

6. The Nike/USA Lacrosse High School National Top 25 rankings are here.

St. Mary’s (Md.) jumps two spots in the top 10 of the boys’ rankings, while Manhasset moves from No. 12 to No. 8. Click here for the full rankings.

7. It’s never too early for Bracketology.

• Connor Buczek, who retired last week from professional lacrosse, shared his lacrosse journey with Paul Carcaterra on “Overtime,” which dropped on Tuesday.

• News out of Division II women's lacrosse. Adams State announced that it will discontinue its program, effective immediately. Adams State has competed in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for 11 years.

• Beyond the Basics returned for another week. On the men’s side, Zack Capozzi touched on the importance of pacing and shot selection among top Division I teams. For the women’s game, he takes a look at win probability and how it can apply to close games.

• Le Moyne men's lacrosse continued a strong start to the season with a commanding win over Bentley.
