Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Labor Day weekend marked the unofficial end of summer and the official beginning of recruiting contact for the high school class of 2021.

US Lacrosse asked its Twitter followers to post a picture of their favorite moments of the summer. Some highlights:

Inside Lacrosse’s Ty Xanders, meanwhile, was busy doing what he does best — breaking news of recruits committing to colleges. IL unveiled its top 100 players in the class of 2021 in advance of the Sept. 1 contact date and its annual Midnight Mania event. St. Anthony’s (N.Y.)/Team 91 Crush midfielder Andrew McAdorey is No. 1 on the  list.

2. The Denver Outlaws are on the rise again.

The defending Major League Lacrosse champions, who snapped a four-game losing streak last week, obliterated the Boston Cannons 22-9 on Saturday at Peter Barton Stadium.

Ryan Lee led the offensive explosion with five goals and three assists, while Brendan Kavanagh and Zach Currier added three goals apiece.

But the day really belonged to John Grant Jr. and Mikie Schlosser for a couple of Herculean plays.

3. The Dallas Rattlers lost for the first time in nearly seven weeks Saturday, falling to the last-place New York Lizards 12-11.

Dallas (6-8) remains in the playoff hunt, sitting a game and a half back of Atlanta (7-6) and Boston (7-6) — its next two opponents to close out the regular season.

Denver (8-5) and Chesapeake (8-5) are tied for first place in the MLL standings. The top four teams qualify for the postseason.

4. The Six Nations Rivermen defeated the Akwesasne Bucks 9-5 on Sunday to win the Presidents Cup, Canada’s Senior B national box lacrosse championship. Goalie Warren Hill (Syracuse/New England Black Wolves) made 29 saves to earn MVP honors.
