1. Former Hofstra men's lacrosse player Jon Cooper won the Stanley Cup as the Tampa Bay Lightning's head coach last night. Here's a feature Marisa Ingemi wrote for us about his lacrosse roots back in 2017.

2. US Lacrosse kicked off its She Competes webinar series yesterday. The three-day, six-event series includes two more sessions today, including U.S. team head coach Jenny Levy hosting “Developing Women in Leadership” today at 4 p.m.

4. Brendan Grimes has seen a lot of change happening: his senior year of high school cut short, the U19 world championship postponed and his college coach let go. He’s staying upbeat.
