Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. College lacrosse teams are practicing again and a previously unreported high-impact transfer has reported for fall ball with the Northwestern women’s lacrosse team.

Hailey Rhatigan, the nation’s No. 2 scorer with 93 goals last year as a senior at Mercer, is now in Evanston as a graduate transfer for the Wildcats, USA Lacrosse Magazine contributor Charlotte Varnes tweeted Monday. Rhatigan is a graduate transfer for Northwestern, which is looking to replace the firepower of Lauren Gilbert and Jill Girardi but does bring back 2021 Tewaaraton finalist Izzy Scane.

2. Virginia has already won the recruiting season championship, landing Inside Lacrosse’s No. 1-ranked prospects in the classes of 2023 and 2024.

The Cavaliers added to their haul Monday, getting a commitment from the No. 4-ranked prospect in the class of 2024, Ridgefield (Conn.) attackman Kyle Colsey. He’s the son of National Lacrosse Hall of Famer Roy Colsey and brother of current Virginia player Ryan Colsey.

3. The Premier Lacrosse League and Waterdogs took a virtual victory lap Monday following Sunday’s successful championship game.

The Waterdogs defeated the Chaos 11-9 in front of a packed house at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa.

4. Speaking of champions, the Colorado women’s lacrosse team had an audience with Lord Stanley’s cup Monday.

5. The game keeps growing. Nova Southeastern, a Division II school in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., announced Monday it is adding men’s and women’s lacrosse teams to compete in the Sunshine State Conference starting in 2024-25.

The teams will play their inaugural seasons in the former Miami Dolphins training complex.

6. USA Lacrosse announced the lineup for this year’s Fall Classic.

As has become an annual rite of autumn, both U.S. national teams will compete against the defending NCAA champions. It’s world champs versus national champs, as the U.S. men take on Maryland and the U.S. women face North Carolina.
