1. The lacrosse emoji arrives today! It’s the moment the lacrosse world has been waiting for. Apple reported Monday 70 new emojis will be released as part of the iOS 12.1 update.

2. The Professional Lacrosse Players’ Association released a statement Monday that the NLL violated federal labor laws when negotiating player agreements. Stay tuned for ongoing coverage.

3. High Point women’s lacrosse is eyeing a bigger and better season in 2019 after a disappointing end to 2018, falling to Denver in the NCAA tournament. A key piece to the Panthers success is returning Big South freshman of the year Abby Hormes.

“Last year’s success has set the stage for us to expect ourselves to compete with top 20 teams every year,” said High Point coach Lyndsey Boswell. “We’re no longer a new program.”

4. The Warp technology has arrived in women’s lacrosse and the new stick gives Team USA gold medalist Marie McCool confidence. It’s a game changer.
