Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. One year ago today, the Premier Lacrosse League officially launched. Nelson Rice previewed PLL Day with a look back at the first season and here's our look at the league with our story on the announcement of the league's formation a year ago.

Tthe league also dropped a new video on its YouTube channel.

2. More than 1,300 young players participated in the National Team Development Program through regional trials with the PLL and WPLL. That processed culminated with 88 players from the USA Select teams bringing home the Brogden Cup on Sunday.

3. Belle Smith helped the U.S women’s U19 team win the gold medal this summer in Canada. The future Boston College player knows her way around the volleyball court as well.

4. Former Syracuse All-American and current ESPN lacrosse analyst Paul Carcaterra spends his fall doing sideline work covering college football. The ESPN crew gave a nice tribute to his lacrosse career when he called the Pitt-Syracuse football game last Friday night.
