2. US Lacrosse has taken another step forward as part of its alignment with the U.S. Center for SafeSport, requiring free background checks for all adult coach members.

The sport’s national governing body has teamed up with NCSI to administer the background checks, which must be initiated within 10 days of purchasing or renewing an adult coach membership.

Denver Outlaws goalie Kaisuke Iwamoto offered a glimpse inside a suite where the Major League Lacrosse champions took in the Broncos’ 23-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams Sunday.
