1. Melissa Sconone was a menace off the bench for UNC last spring.
Sconone, the younger sister of PLL goalie Sean Sconone, was a zone-breaker, entering games late to use her lethal lefty shot to provide a spark for the Tar Heels. In our Fall Ball Focus series, Justin Feil checks in with Sconone and the Tar Heels.

3. The USA Lacrosse Sports Medicine Symposium starts Wednesday evening.
The all-virtual event is open to everyone, and registration is now open. This event is for athletic trainers, sports scientists, medical and allied professionals, administrators and support staff who seek to improve health and the well-being of lacrosse athletes.

4. Selena Lasota headlines the Iroquois Nationals’ World Lacrosse Super Sixes roster.
The former Northwestern star and 2019 Tewaaraton Award finalist headlines the 15-player roster, which will compete Oct. 23-24 at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.
