Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. A month out from U.S. women’s national team tryouts, Kenny DeJohn caught up with the four 2019 U.S. U19 players looking to make the jump to the senior squad.

Sophia DiCenso (Richmond) and Izzy Scane (Northwestern) won a gold medal two summers ago in Ontario. Madison Ahern (Notre Dame) was with that team all the way up to its final training camp in Buffalo. Ally Palermo (Northwestern) was unable to compete due to a knee injury.

2. As part of our Native American Heritage Month coverage, Kenny DeJohn also caught up with former Hofstra and New York Saints great Mikko Red Arrow.

Red Arrow, who is Cherokee and Lenape, competed for the Iroquois Nationals in the 1980s and is now a highly regarded college and professional men’s lacrosse official in North Carolina.
