Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world.

1. Patrick Stevens and Jeremy Fallis grade the Selection Committees.

Less than 12 hours after the Selection Show dropped a bomb on the ACC in men’s lacrosse, we heard from Donna Woodruff, the chair of the committee, courtesy of Stevens. You’ll have to read the full story to get a sense of why Duke and Notre Dame were left out of the field.

The women’s field lacked the level of controversy surrounding the men’s bracket, but fans nationwide have questioned the decision to leave Arizona State out of the tournament. The only other key question pertained to seeding, though that’s an annual discussion.

2. Overshadowed by bracket discourse, it was also a rankings Monday.

• Division I Men: Penn jumped from No. 12 to No. 5 after winning the Ivy League.

• Division II Men: Seton Hill won the GMAC and entered the Top 20 at No. 14.

• Division III Men: Defending national champion RIT is back at No. 1 after Salisbury beat Christopher Newport.

• Division I Women: Rutgers might have fallen in the Big Ten title game, but it beat Northwestern and jumped two spots in the Top 20.

• Division II Women: Queens (N.C.) is holding strong at the top of the ranking.

• Division III Women: Salisbury spent the first five weeks of the season at No. 1 and just made its return to the top spot.

3. One final bracket was revealed Monday morning.

While five of the six brackets were unveiled Sunday night, the NCAA saved the Division III women’s bracket for Monday morning. Forty-six teams begin their chase for a national championship on May 14.

4. The Premier Lacrosse League’s College Draft is tonight at 8 p.m.

• The NLL and USA Lacrosse have announced a strategic partnership aiming at growing the sport, specifically through box lacrosse.

• The NEC won’t sponsor men’s lacrosse in 2023. The conference’s three remaining teams — LIU, Sacred Heart and Wagner — have been absorbed by the MAAC.

• Lacrosse schedules for The World Games were announced yesterday.
