Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. ​The long-awaited news became official on Monday morning when the Premier Lacrosse League announced that two-time all-world attackman and 2018 Major League Lacrosse MVP Rob Pannell would be joining the PLL. Pannell was under contract with the MLL until March 1, 2020.

Pannell is this week’s podcast guest on Overtime with Paul Carcaterra.

2. North Carolina and Northwestern put on a show last night with the Tar Heels outgunning the Wildcats 20-18 before a nationally-televised audience on the Big Ten Network. Katie Hoeg had eight points to become North Carolina’s all-time leading scorer and Northwestern’s Izzy Scane had a career-high eight goals.

3. The Nike/US Lacrosse rankings were revealed on Monday. A snapshot:

4. Columbia head women’s lacrosse coach Andrea Cofrin resigned on Monday, effective immediately, with nine games remaining on the schedule

5. Yale’s TD Ierlan and Stony Brook’s Ally Kennedy are the US Lacrosse Players of the Week.
