Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Duke women’s lacrosse team is 6-0, its best start since 2015.
The seventh-ranked Blue Devils defeated East Carolina 19-9 on Monday — a Kimel family affair. Duke coach Kerstin Kimel’s daughter, Caroline, is ECU’s top scorer. She was held to one goal Monday, with her mother opting to neutralize her with a face guard.
Catriona Barry scored four goals and Maddie Jenner pulled down 14 draw controls in the win.
2. The latest Nike/USA Lacrosse rankings came out Monday. Here are the lists and recaps — who’s hot, not, in and out — for your convenience.
