Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

3. The Women’s Professional Lacrosse League commenced its second season alongside the PLL games at Gillette Stadium. The defending WPLL champion Command and Fight emerged with wins.

4. The National Lacrosse League unveiled nominees for its 2018-2019 season awards. Dane Dobbie (Calgary Roughnecks), Lyle Thompson (Georgia Swarm) and Matt Vinc (Buffalo Bandits) are up for MVP.

5. Amy Altig, a U.S. team assistant who spent the last nine seasons in the same capacity at Penn State, was announced as the new head coach at Delaware.
