Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The U.S. U19 women’s national team arrived Monday in Evanston, Ill., for a three-day training camp at Northwestern.

Team USA, set to compete next month in the World Lacrosse Women’s U19 World Championship in Peterborough, Ontario, features the most geographically diverse roster in U.S. national team history.

2. The coaching carousel just keeps spinning. Bellarmine announced longtime Fairfield assistant Andrew Whitley as its new men’s lacrosse coach, while Lafayette poached reigning MAAC Coach of the Year Katie McConnell from Manhattan to lead its women’s lacrosse program. Both announcements were made Monday.

Inside Lacrosse reported over the weekend that Navy men’s lacrosse assistant Ryan Wellner is set to take the defensive coordinator position vacated by Gerry Byrne at Notre Dame, while Denver assistant John Orsen will reunite with Joe Amplo at Navy. IL had previously reported that Ohio State assistant Brad Ross would become the offensive coordinator at Navy.

College Crosse had more coaching news Monday, reporting that new Stony Brook coach Anthony Gilardi will hire Mike Chanenchuk (Sacred Heart) and J.P. Brazel (Hofstra) as his coordinators and that Byrne intends bring Neil Hutchinson (Notre Dame) and Will Corrigan (Washington and Lee) on board in Cambridge.

Also on Monday, Youngstown State, set to debut its Division I women’s lacrosse program in 2021, announced that Virginia Commonwealth assistant Theresa Walton will be its first-ever head coach.

3. The National Lacrosse League announced Monday that it has signed commissioner Nick Sakiewicz to a contract extension that will keep the NLL boss in his current capacity at least through the 2022 season.

A press release on the league’s website touted Sakiewicz’s accomplishments since taking over in 2016,  including inking a media rights partnership with Turner Sports and Bleacher Report Live, increasing ticket sales, adding four new owners and teams and aligning the NLL with major brands.

4. St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) sensation Brennan O’Neill and Ridgewood (N.J.) star Jackie Wolak have been named national high school players of the year.
