Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Chesapeake kept things rolling with its sixth straight victory, beating Boston 15-8 behind a three-goal, four-assist effort from attackman Matt Danowski. The Bayhawks are now 7-2, just one-half game behind Dallas in the Major League Lacrosse standings.
Prior to the game, the Bayhawks honored the five journalists that lost their lives during the attack at the Capital Gazette on Thursday, the team's hometown paper in Annapolis, Md.
2. The Fourth of July game in Denver is one of the highlights of the MLL schedule each year, and one of the biggest events in lacrosse.
3. Will Haus will join his brother, John, playing for Team USA in Israel. Will, a shortstick defensive midfielder for Charlotte, was named to the team after an injury sidelined Steve DeNapoli.

5. Brown recruit Sophia DeRosa, the Brine/US Lacrosse Northeast Player of the Year, led Cold Spring Harbor to an unlikely feat - its first state championship.
6. Harvard-bound Zach Hobbes, the Warrior/US Lacrosse Northeast Player of the Year out of Ward Melville, led the Patriots to a No. 3 national ranking and another state title.
7. US Lacrosse has named its annual high school All-America and All-Academic award winners.
8. Kyle Buchanan is the first player in franchise history for one of the National Lacrosse League's two new teams, the San Diego Seals.
