Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Bill Leahy, one of the nation’s most successful high school coaches, announced his retirement from LaSalle (Pa.) College High School. Leahy started the program at the school in 1992 and led the Explorers to 512 wins (a state record), 23 Philadelphia Catholic League championships, five state championships and the No. 1 ranking in the country by US Lacrosse Magazine in 2008.

Leahy was also an assistant general manager for the 2016 U.S. U19 team that won a gold medal and has been involved with the selection process for the 2020 U.S. U19 team.

2. Rob Pannell was the Major League Lacrosse MVP in 2018 and the two-time U.S. team attackman is piling up the points again this year. This weekend, that led to the Lizards first win of the season. Phil Shore with his MLL Notebook.

3. Kyle Harrison’s first Premier Lacrosse League goal was a big one. Harrison’s fourth quarter tally was the game-winner as Redwoods LC handed Whipsnakes LC its first loss of the season. Jack Goods with more from the PLL in his weekly notebook.

4. Harvard made the hiring of Notre Dame defensive coordinator Gerry Byrne as its new head men’s lacrosse coach official on Monday.

5. Pitt will officially introduce Emily Boissonneault as its first varsity women’s lacrosse coach later today.
