1. Team-by-team previews of the Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Preseason Top 20 continued yesterday.
The No. 13 Virginia Tech women will try to validate their historic 2018 season by returning to the NCAA tournament. The Hokies qualified for the big dance for the first time and won their first NCAA tournament game, 13-11 over Georgetown. Third-year coach John Sung welcomes his second full recruiting class as he hopes to keep Virginia Tech among the ACC powers.
2. From the January issue of US Lacrosse Magazine, Loyola senior and Warrior/US Lacrosse Preseason Player of the Year Pat Spencer has some legitimate hoop dreams.
