Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Our February cover was released on Monday, featuring Syracuse junior attacker Emily Hawryschuk, who was All-ACC in 2018.

2. US Lacrosse launched Monday an online education and training platform through a partnership with the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

It is free to all US Lacrosse adult members and is the latest development in its SafeSport Program. It is also currently voluntary, but will become mandatory later this year.

“We have a duty to lead on this critically important issue,” said Steve Stenersen, president and CEO at US Lacrosse. “We’re committed to doing what is needed to protect our kids and to make our sport safer. There’s no room for people who abuse others in lacrosse.”

“It was kind of a blur,” Riorden said. “Honestly, it was a layup. It had nothing to do with me, just a lot of hard work for 60 minutes.”
