Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The Kirst brothers are together at Rutgers for 2021 — something that didn’t seem possible but means the world to their family.

Connor and Colin Kirst lost their father, Kyle, in June 2015. Kyle was a member of the Scarlet Knights’ 1990 NCAA tournament team. Now with Connor transferred from Villanova and Colin from Lehigh, the brothers will end their careers where their father once played.

2. The lacrosse community remembers Hall of Famer Marge Watson.

Watson, the pioneer and founder of the Ursinus College women’s lacrosse program, died Dec. 5 at the age of 90. More on her career here.

3. The NCAA has downsized the Division II and Division III lacrosse championships, according to Inside Lacrosse.

The Men’s Division II tournament will shrink from 12 to 10 teams, and the Women’s Division II tournament from 16 to 12. In Division III, the men’s and women’s tournaments go from 36 to 28 teams.

4. Editor in Chief Matt DaSilva is back with another From the Editor column.

In the December edition of the magazine, DaSilva writes about the experience of coaching his community soccer team for which his son plays. Check it out here.
