Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The Dallas Rattlers continue to add former Rochester players to its roster. The team announced Monday it re-signed attackman Ned Crotty and defenseman Mike Manley, in addition to signing attackman Chris Bocklet.

Crotty, a six-time MLL All-Star and U.S. training team member, finished second on the team with 33 points on nine goals and 24 assists. He joins former Rochester Rattlers like Jordan MacIntosh on the Rattlers offense, but leadng scorer Jordan Wolf, who filed for Player Movement, has not re-signed with the team.

Manley, a U.S. training team member who was drafted by the Rattlers, joins the team after playing in just two games last season. He will meet fellow defenseman Joel White, with whom he shared the 2014 Defensive Player of the Year award.

Let's not forget Bocklet, who finished second on the Blaze with 22 goals last season. He's a former league leader in points (55 in 2013) and could help boost the Rattlers offense.

2. Johns Hopkins senior midfielder Joel Tinney, who starred for the Blue Jays last season with 19 goals and nine assists, broke his wrist last month according to Inside Lacrosse. Tinney, who reportedly suffered the injury during a box practice, should return before the start of the 2018 season.

Tinney led the Johns Hopkins midfield in 2017 with 28 points. However, he’ll be forever linked to a pair of beautiful hidden-ball tricks that were a highlight of the entire NCAA lacrosse season.

Looks like Tinney will be back to give lacrosse fans another season of trick shots.

3. Alex Buque and Aaron Bold entered the 2018 NLL season with something to prove. Buque, whom the Mammoth sent to Buffalo, was out to show the NLL he could still be a No. 1 goaltender.

As for Bold, whom the Rush traded to New England after he won two championships in 2015 and 2016, he set out to prove he could be a top-end goalie.

So far so good. Buque had 55 saves to help the Bandits take down the Toronto Rock on Friday night, and Bold picked up a few big saves in the second half to fuel a Black Wolves win over the defending champion Georgia Swarm.

4. Will Manny (UMass ’13) and Dylan Molloy (Brown ’17) both starred for St. Anthony’s (N.Y.), but four years apart. Still, the Long Island natives have already developed a rapport while playing with the U.S. national training team.

Manny and Molloy give us a breakdown of how to convert on a quick-pass, quick-shoot situation.

5. Marquette announced the groundbreaking of the first phase of the Athletic Performance Research Center, which will include locker rooms for men's and women's lacrosse, as well as extra space for strength and conditioning. It was an adjustment to the original plan featuring indoor field space.
