Good morning. Here’s the latest around the lacrosse world:

1. Emma Schettig is transferring to Notre Dame.

The rising sophomore spent her freshman season at Maryland, where she anchored the defense and secured a team-high 17 ground balls in six games. The McDonogh (Md.) product was a member of last summer’s U19 women’s national team that captured a gold medal.

In an official release, Notre Dame head coach Chris Halfpenny said that Notre Dame was involved in her recruitment before she committed to Maryland. She has McDonogh ties to the Irish, as she played in high school with Savannah Buchanan and Andie Aldave.

As part of the announcement, Eboni Preston-Laurent was promoted to a newly created role as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
