Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Two powerful pieces of content from professional lacrosse players were released on Monday. First, a thoughtful essay from Tyler Warner on Black Lives Matter and his lacrosse experience. Warner, named the Premier Lacrosse League’s top shortstick defensive midfielder, began medical school classes while in the PLL bubble. Nelson Rice, from our writing staff, wrote a lengthy feature on Warner earlier this year.

Second, a compelling video from National Lacrosse League and Premier Lacrosse League star Dhane Smith titled "I Belong Here."

2. Paul “Doc” Doherty, a two-time NCAA Division II championship coach at Adelphi, died on Sunday at the age of 79. “Paul taught his players that their reach should exceed their grasp, in doing so, Paul’s players learned far more than lacrosse at Adelphi,” said another former Adelphi coach,  Kevin Sheehan.

3. Max Adler, C.J. Costabile and Zach Goodrich were named the MLL Specialists of the Year on Monday.

4. TrueSport with some guidance on helping athletes deal with anxiety as they return to play after a long layoff due to COVID-19.
