Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Pat Spencer made it a trifecta as he was named the Patriot League's top offenisve player for the third year in a row. Spencer leads the conference in scoring (5.85 points per game) and is one point away from tying Bucknell's Chris Cara (2002-05) as the all-time leading scorer in Patriot League history with 248 career points.

Spencer was one of three Loyola players to earn major awards from the league with Foster Huggins being named the Defender of the Year and Jacob Stover being named the Goaltender of the Year. The other awards went to Navy's Joe Varello (Faceoff Specialist of the Year), Boston University's Chris Gray (Rookie of the Year) and Bucknell's Frank Fedorjaka (The William Lawson Coach of the Year).

The Patriot League tournament gets underway today with Colgate visiting Lehigh and Boston University heading to Bucknell.

Yale senior Conor Mackie won 13-of-21 faecoffs in a big match-up with Albany's TD Ierlan to help lead the Bulldogs to a 14-6 win over Albany on Sunday. Yale is No. 2 in this week's Nike/US Lacrosse Top 20.

2. How did the men's lacrosse rankings shake out after Albany and Maryland both went down over the weekend weekend? Split decision. Duke is No. 1 in the Nike/US Lacrosse rankings and in the USILA Coaches Poll and Yale took the top spot in the Maverik/Inside Lacrosse Media poll.

3. Without a single upset in the Top 20 from last week's Nike/US Lacrosse Women's Division I Top 20, there was very little change in this week's poll - Syracuse and Virginia swapping spots - but that could change this week. There are two Top 10 matchups - No. 3 Maryland vs. No. 7 Northwestern on Thursday and No. 4 James Madison vs. No. 10 on Towson - and the ACC and Pac-12 tournaments.

4. Kylie Ohlmiller, who set the NCAA all-time records for points and assists in a career, was the Brine/US Lacrosse Player of the Week. Jack Jasinski, who led Ohio State to an upset of Maryland was named the Warrior/US Lacrosse Player of the Week.

5. Unranked in the preseason, Amherst has vaulted all the way to No. 1 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Women's Division III poll. Check out all of the latest Nike/US Lacrosse NCAA rankings.

6. Five teams are fighting for three playoff spots in the NLL East as we enter the final weekend of the regular season.

7. Lacrosse player Brynn Cartelli celebrated her 15th birthday in a pretty special way, performing live on NBC's hit show "The Voice." The youngest person left in the competition, Cartelli is on Kelly Clarkson's team and one of just 12 finalists.
