1. Georgetown men’s lacrosse is turning the page.
   Georgetown went 15-1 in the regular season, earned a No. 2 seed to the NCAA Tournament and appeared destined to play on Memorial Day Weekend. But a first-round upset loss to Delaware ended the Hoyas’ season. This fall, Georgetown is striking a balance between not forgetting it but not dwelling on it, according to Patrick Stevens.

2. Ohio State ready to keep building.
   The Buckeyes rebounded from a 4-7 2021 by going 10-6 and securing an NCAA Tournament bid last season. What's next? Life without Jack Withers at the X, for one. But the addition of Marcus Hudgins, a transfer from Army, should bolster the defense. More from Matt Hamilton. 

3. For the Belichicks, coaching is a family affair.
   Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who played collegiate lacrosse at Wesleyan University, told his kids to follow their passion. They did.
   
   Now, they, like their father, are in the sports industry. Stephen played lacrosse at Rutgers and is now an assistant for the Patriots alongside Brian. Amanda stayed in lacrosse and is now the head coach at Holy Cross. ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported on how coaching is in the family’s DNA.

4. USA Lacrosse is hosting a fall webinar on girls’ rules.
   New rules, including modifications to stick checks, were approved earlier this month for high school and youth girls’ lacrosse. USA Lacrosse National Rules Interpreter Jeffrey Grose and USA Lacrosse Rules Committee Chair Barbara Martinichi will explain the new rules during a free webinar on Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. EDT. Advanced registration is required but free.
