Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. National Letter of Intent Day was a busy day for the sport as high school students made their commitments official.

Among the signees were Long Beach (N.Y.) High and Yellow Jackets club goalie Sarah Reznick, who in 2014 became the first girls’ freshman to commit to a college program before the new recruiting legislation went into effect, Calvert Hall (Md.) standout Jacob Kelly, who joins a long list of Kellys that played at North Carolina, and North Oconee (Ga.) senior Gavin McNeill, who became the first lacrosse player from the school to sign an NLI as he heads to Huntingdon College.

Here’s a social snapshot of the day’s activities as letters rolled into schools.

2. Lax World, once a favored retail spot in the sport, is closing its stores as it faces multiple lawsuits. According to the Baltimore Business Journal, the company owes hundreds of thousands of dollars.

3. Twitter expanded the word count for tweets and the sports world quickly jumped on it, including lacrosse.

4. Bryant’s Tom Kennedy became a successful two-sport standout in lacrosse and football thanks to his workout routine.

“The effort that I put into the weight room is going to help me out on the field,” he said.

5. Fred Opie talks with Larry Quinn, current Hopkins assistant coach and former Team USA goalie Larry Quinn, in Opie’s weekly podcast about confidence, official visits and Qunin’s decision to become a Blue Jay.
