1. November 4 was Lyle Thompson Day
Major League Lacrosse commemorated the Chesapeake Bayhawks attackman and two-time Tewaaraton Award winner, who wears the No. 4, by sharing highlights of his first MLL goal, to a hidden ball trick, to a video feature that ran during the league’s season this past summer.

2. One of the best-kept secrets In lacrosse.
That’s how Chad Surman described the Mercer team that claimed their first winning season last year and that he’ll lead into 2021 after being elevated to permanent head coach last week. Patrick Stevens talked with Surman and junior attackman Sean Goldsmith, who led the led the country with 34 goals as a sophomore, about how one of last season’s breakout programs will take the next step.

3. Highlighted by returning fifth year seniors Ryan Terefenko, Jeff Henrick and Tre LeClaire, the Ohio States Buckeyes are on a mission to be “the most connected team in college lacrosse,” after the way last season ended.

Duke Lacrosse on the long journey of Greg DeLuca, who won national championships with the Blue Devils in 2010 and 2011. Now after six years in the U.S. Navy as a member of SEAL Team 10 and Special Reconnaissance Team 2, DeLuca is playing for the Northern Illinois football team while earning a master’s degree in sports psychology.
