Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Bucknell coach Remington Steele announced Wednesday that he will resign from his post effective immediately.

Steele took over the Bison program in 2017 and compiled a 7-26 record over two seasons.

2. Nick Myers and his U.S. U19 men’s staff announced they’ve trimmed the 2020 roster to 26 players. The news comes days after a training camp at Ohio State in which the U.S. U19 team battled Culver (Ind.) and Hill Academy (Ont.).

Thirty-one players were in Ohio for the training weekend and Myers and his staff selected 24 players from the weekend to move onto the next stage. Two additional players moving on are high school seniors Jackson Bonitz and Logan Santos. Bonitz had a high school football commitment that prevented him from attending last weekend’s camp. Santos made it through the initial round of tryouts, but an injury prevented him from participating further.

3. The Buffalo Bandits came close to winning the NLL championship last season, but eventually fell to the Calgary Roughnecks in the final.

The Bandits enter 2020 as motivated as ever, equipped with John Tavares as the sole head coach (he split duties with Rich Kilgour last season) and Dhane Smith leading the offense. Check out Jack Goods’ preview of the Bandits heading into the 2019-2020 season.

4. Speaking of the Bandits, they traded former Tewaaraton winner Dylan Molloy to the Colorado Mammoth in exchange for a 2020 fifth-round pick and a conditional pick in the 2022 draft.
