Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Welcome to USA Lacrosse Magazine.

US Lacrosse rebranded as USA Lacrosse on Wednesday morning, and with it, we are now USA Lacrosse Magazine.

The name has changed. The logo has changed. But the mission to provide national leadership, structure and resources to fuel the sport’s growth and enrich the experience of participants remains the same.

Read all about the rebrand here.

2. The Premier Lacrosse League and NBC announced the 2021 PLL Media Schedule.

A total of 21 PLL games will appear on NBCSN (17) or NBC (4) this season, and all 44 of the league’s games will be streamed on Peacock.

Check out the full schedule here.

3. John Sung has resigned as head coach of Virginia Tech’s lacrosse program.

Sung, who just wrapped a 5-11 ACC season with the Hokies, steps away after five years at Virginia Tech. He amassed a 45-39 record in his career in Blacksburg, including a run to the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2018.

More on the decision here.

In other women’s Division I coaching news, New Hampshire announced that coach Sarah Albrecht will not return after nine years in charge of the Wildcats program.

4. Marc O’Rourke is back for Bryant and serving as a catalyst for a team that has endured plenty of adversity.

O’Rourke missed most of the 2021 season while dealing with myocarditis related to a case of COVID-19, while the Bulldogs went through three different COVID pauses. With O’Rourke back as a leader on offense, Bryant made a run to the NEC title.

Read O’Rourke inspiring comeback story.

5. Le Moyne women’s lacrosse is still “dumbfounded and bewildered” by its omission from the Division II NCAA tournament.

Paul Ohanian checked in on the Dolphins, who finished the season at 13-1 but did not hear their name called on Selection Sunday.
