1. The lacrosse community mourned the passing of Syracuse great Rob Kavovit. He was 45 years old. The Yorktown Heights High School (N.Y.) product won a national championship with the Orange in 1995 and was a three-time All-American. He tallied 246 collegiate points.
2. We kicked off our 2021 high school coverage with preseason girls’ and boys’ lacrosse Regional Top 10s. Did your school make the list? The preseason National Top 25s are coming Friday.

3. The University of Denver announced that TD Ierlan cleared the NCAA compliance and transfer protocols and has been admitted to the university.
Ierlan first confirmed the news that he was cleared to play to US Lacrosse Magazine’s Matt Hamilton on March 15. Denver also announced Ierlan was eligible to join team activities on Saturday, but three hours later said its game against Villanova had been postponed. A make-up date has not been determined.
