Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Acacia Walker-Weinstein is running out of adjectives for Charlotte North.

Walker-Weinstein, appearing on USA Lacrosse Magazine’s “Yard Sale” on YouTube, told Paul Carcaterra, Quint Kessenich and Anish Shroff that North is a trailblazer who is helping empower young women.

“What I love about her celebrations is that it shows girls it is cool to be intense and to celebrate your success,” she said. “You don’t have to be quiet — you can be brave and big and bold about your success and your team’s success. Have you ever seen a girl do this before? It’s empowering young women.

“My daughter, Wesley, is a cute little thing. She goes in the backyard and practices her celebrations because it’s cool now to be strong and proud of yourself. That is huge for young women in sports.”

2. Premier Lacrosse League rosters are set.

We’re just one day away from opening night, and each of the league’s eight clubs finalized their opening 25-man rosters. As you might expect given the merger of two outdoor leagues, the rosters are stacked.

Check them out here.

3. The Panther City Lacrosse Club has rounded out its scouting staff.

And it’s a notable bunch. John Grant Jr. headlines the scouting staff, and he’s joined by Ken Watson and Kyle Goundrey.

4. An update on Hakeem Lecky.

The former Syracuse captain was transferred to a rehab floor at Bellevue Hospital in New York City Wednesday night. He had been in the neurological ICU since May 22 after suffering a traumatic brain injury in a scooter accident.

More on Lecky’s condition here.

5. We named our high school players of the week.

Andrew McAdorey of St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) headlines the boys’ honorees, while Graham Straface of Nashoba Regional (Mass.) is one of four girls’ players earning recognition.

Check out the full boys’ list here and the girls’ list here.
