Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Major League Lacrosse has announced the location for the next three All-Star games. The 2019 game will be played at Chesapeake’s home field, Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md. The 2020 game will be played in Atlanta and the 2021 game will be played in Denver.

2. Former players are taking on increased roles with Major League Lacrosse coaching staffs.

3. Matt Vinc of the Rochester Knighthawks was named the NLL’s Goalie of the Year for the sixth time in his career.

4. The Western Mid-Atlantic regional report in the July/August issue of US Lacrosse Magazine highlights a recent high school graduate running an adaptive lacrosse clinic in Western Pennsylvania.

5. The Boston University and Michigan men’s lacrosse teams will be playing in the St. Louis Fall Classic from Oct. 20-21 at Lindenwood to benefit the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

WHAT’S ON TAP

  • Major League Lacrosse has two games on the schedule tonight. Ohio (3-9) hosts Florida (4-7) and Atlanta (5-6) hosts Chesapeake (8-3) in essentially a must-win game if it wants to keep its playoff hopes alive. Denver (7-5), Charlotte (7-6), New York (6-6) and Atlanta (5-6) all appear to be fighting for the final two playoff spots with Dallas (10-2) and Chesapeake (8-3) leading the league.
