1. There will be some familiar faces, but also a new wave of talent at this weekend’s Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game in Annapolis.

2. Tbere's a boom in the Big Easy as US Lacrosse invests in New Orleans.

3. US Lacrosse is working with USA Field Hockey on an event to help beginning players a taste of both sports.

4. We’ve got photos of both the boys and girls action from the 11^th annual US Lacrosse Nationals, which took place over the weekend in Downingtown, Pa.

5. A recent addition to the family of US Lacrosse and U.S. national team partners, Hudl combines game film, in-depth team stats and individual athletes’ performance.

WHAT WE’RE READING

• The Six Nations girls team won a tournament, but also helped raise awareness for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls movement.

• Yale commit Pat Hackler gave up the opportunity to walk across the stage to try out for the 2020 U.S. men’s U19 team. He was one of 32 players named to the training team last week.

• The IWLCA honored 518 student-athletes from 101 different institutions on the 2019 IWLCA Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll

• National Lacrosse Hall of Famer Tom Marechek is the new director of lacrosse at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

WHAT WE’RE WATCHING

The Women’s Professional Lacrosse League playoffs are right around the corner. The semifinals take place Friday at Yale with the championship game coming Sunday at US Lacrosse headquarters.
