2. Colorado lost star power off last year's inaugural Pac 12 regular season championship roster, but IWLCA Goaltender of the Year Julia Lisella is back to anchor the Buffs.

3. Former player Joe Cummings has been named as the new head coach for the MLL's Charlotte Hounds.

4. Intermountain Lacrosse sits at the center of the lacrosse boom in Utah, which includes a new varsity men's program at the University of Utah and state sanctioning at the high school level.

5. Notre Dame star Ryder Garnsey boldly and publicly addresses his absence from the Irish program this spring due to academic reasons.

• Stanford assistant coach Kara Mupo shares how opening up to her team made her a more successful coach in the IWLCA “Behind the Whistle” blog.
