1. Boston College tops the 2019 Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Women’s Preseason Top 20. 

The Eagles soar into the season as the clear No. 1 returning reigning Tewaaraton winner Sam Apuzzo and the 2017 NCAA championship MVP Kenzie Kent.

Maryland, North Carolina, Florida and Stony Brook round out the top five.

Reigning @tewaaraton winner 2018 @iwlca Defender of Year 2017 NCAA championship MVP All signs point to BC in 2019. After consecutive NCAA title game appearances, the Eagles debut at No. 1 in the @nike / @uslacrosse Division I Women’s Preseason Top 20.

2. Defending NCAA champion Yale leads the way in the 2019 Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Men’s Preseason Top 20.

The Bulldogs graduated a transformative class but reload this spring with a key transfer from Albany, faceoff specialist TD Ierlan. 

The 2018 NCAA runner-up Duke lands at No. 2, followed by Maryland, Cornell and Virginia.
