1. It was the Mitch Bartolo and Colin Kirst show for Rutgers on Wednesday.

Kirst matched his career-high with 19 saves and Bartolo scored three goals, including two deep blasts, to lead the Scarlet Knights to a 13-10 victory over Marist in a tightly contested game.

2. Ryan Tierney was traded from Whipsnakes LC to Cannons LC, according to Ty Xanders.

Tierney, the former Hofstra star, played in six games and tallied three points for the PLL runners-up in 2021.

We have another @PremierLacrosse trade and it's a big move by Sean Quirk & Co., as the @PLLCannons have acquired Ryan Tierney and a 3rd round pick (No. 23) from the @PLLWhipsnakes, sources told @Inside_Lacrosse. In return, the Whips will get back 3rd and 4th round picks for '22.

3. Kayla Treanor may be a first-time coach, but she’s in win-now mode for Syracuse.

Treanor, the former Tewaaraton finalist for the Orange, takes over a program with a wealth of talent. Syracuse will be a national championship contender in 2022. Read more from Nelson Rice about the culture Treanor hopes to continue at Syracuse.
