2. The “Fate of a Sport” documentary is coming to Hulu on Friday.

The film, which documents the early days of the Premier Lacrosse League and follows its co-founder, Paul Rabil, through the end of his playing career, originally lived on ESPN+.

3. Rachel Vallarelli is still inspiring.

Vallarelli signed a contract with the PBLA’s New England Chowderheads, making her the first female to sign with a professional men’s indoor team. In December 2020, she wrote for us and detailed her own inspirations and goals.

• Colby College’s Kelsey Howard was inspired to think on “the little things” after attending the IWLCA Convention.

• Per Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse: Stanford football captain Ricky Miezan, a former top-ranked junior lacrosse recruit who had committed to North Carolina, is entering the transfer portal to play lacrosse as a graduate student.

• A profile on No. 1 incoming freshman Joey Spallina by IL’s Terry Foy.

• Clemson has broken ground on its new athletic facilities, including a state-of-the-art lacrosse-only facility.

WHAT WE’RE WATCHING

Miezan officially entered the portal on November 28 with a ‘no contact’ tag… despite being a big fan of contact.
