Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. College lacrosse preseason rankings are starting to trickle in. Inside Lacrosse unveiled its Face-Off Yearbook Division I men’s top 25 Wednesday. Duke earned the No. 1 nod, followed by Albany, Yale, Maryland, Denver, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Ohio State, Syracuse and North Carolina in the top 10. College Crosse has all of the preseason rankings — including Division II and III men, Division I, II and III women, NJCAA men and MCLA Division I and II — that appear in this year’s edition of Face-Off Yearbook.

2. Dave Cottle is returning to the sideline. The Chesapeake Bayhawks announced Wednesday they were bringing back Cottle, who led the team to Major League Lacrosse championships in 2012 and 2013, to be their head coach. He has served in various capacities with the franchise for the last seven years, including as general manager, a role he retains.

3. The San Diego Seals, a National Lacrosse League expansion team set to debut during the 2018-19 season, unveiled their jerseys in a fashion show Tuesday night. It was an invite-only VIP red carpet affair at Brick in the Liberty Station development of San Diego.
