1. The Olympic dream has cleared another hurdle.

Inside the Games reported yesterday that lacrosse is one of nine sports that has been invited by the LA28 Organizing Committee to move forward in the evaluation process for inclusion in the 2028 LA Olympics.

2. The 2022 U.S. men's U21 captains have been named.

Graham Bundy Jr. and Cole Kirst have been named captains for the 2022 U.S. U21 men’s team and Kirst’s younger brother, CJ, has been added to the final 23-man roster.

3. Get to know the new NLL commissioner.

Jack Goods talked with new NLL commissioner Brett Frood about his new role and merging his passion for lacrosse and business development.

4. Campbell makes a conference move.

Campbell is leaving the Big South and is headed to the Colonial Athletic Association.

WHAT WE’RE READING

•  Former Denver assistant coach Erik Adamson has been hired as assistant coach and offensive coordinator for the men’s lacrosse program at Lafayette.

• Hobart has hired Chris Fisher as the defensive and goalie coordinator. Fisher was an assistant coach at his alma mater, St. John’s, last year.

• Nik Clinton, an assistant coach at St. Bonaventure the last two seasons, has joined the men’s lacrosse staff at VMI.

• The NLL’s Saskatchewan Rush have named Jimmy Quinlan as their head coach and associate general manager.
