2. New Old Dominion head coach Theresa Walton says that the Monarchs will need to try some new things to get new results.

3. Tom Eschen, a studio host and play-by-play announcer for Lax Sports Network for the last four years, announced he’s leaving the network for a media position in Albany, N.Y. Best wishes to a great contributor to the sport.
