Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Tonight, ESPN Films will debut a documentary on the Charlotte Secondary School lacrosse program. Introduced to the school in 2015, lacrosse has helped give the students a path to college and a family to rely on.

“Crossroads” is the story of Charlotte Secondary School and its 2016 and 2017 seasons. Emmy award-winning producer Ron Yassen, as well as NBA star Chris Paul (executive producer), came together to tell the inspiring story of the program, which is part of the Urban Lacrosse Alliance.

“This was a very important story about how kids find a way forward,” Yassen said. “The story had so many dramatic twists and turns that we couldn’t believe it.”

2. Bill Tierney is coming back to Princeton, just with his Denver team this time. The Tigers teased out that news was on the way, hinting it was important.

Later, we found out that Tierney, who led the Tigers to six NCAA championships, will bring his Pioneers to Princeton for a matchup on March 26.

3. Game 2 of the Minto Cup was supposed to get underway on Wednesday night, but it was postponed until tonight after an odd series of events that played out in the minutes before the game was scheduled to begin.

It started with this report from NLL play-by-play announcer Jake Elliott, concerning three-game suspensions to Cornell star Jeff Teat and coach Dan Teat of the Brampton Excelsiors.

The suspensions, according to Elliott, were appealed shortly before Game 2. Jeff Teat eventually showed up for warmups prior to the start of Game 2 against the Coquitlam Adanacs. After a few minutes, Elliott broke this news.

With no resolution in sight, the game was postponed to tomorrow. Coquitlam leads the best-of-five series 1-0.

4. Katie Rhodes, a Colgate assistant for five seasons, was announced as the head coach of La Salle’s women’s lacrosse program. A former small college star, Rhodes spent time at Detroit Mercy and Colgate before taking her first Division I head coaching gig.

Also in women’s coaching news, Casey Pearsall, the former Notre Dame standout and professional player (both UWLX and WPLL), joins the Vermont coaching staff as an assistant. Pearsall recently led Team Tennessee at the US Lacrosse National Tournament.
