Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Premier Lacrosse League announced the finalists for the awards from its recently completed championship series. One of the more interesting decisions will come at goalie where Blaze Riorden led the event in saves and save percentage, but Kyle Bernlohr led his team to a second straight championship.
2. The PLL also announced its television ratings for the season, which included a 23 percent increase in viewership for the championship game (340,000 total viewers) and a 33 percent increase over last year’s schedule of games on NBC and NBC Sports Network.
3. Sean Quirk, who led the Boston Cannons to the Major League Lacrosse championship, was named the league’s Coach of the Year.
