1. Syracuse faceoff specialist Danny Varello, who was enjoying his season with the Orange with a 63.1 winning percentage, announced on his Instagram that he will be coming back for another season in 2021. He’s the first Syracuse senior to announce they are taking advantage of the NCAA’s allowance of an extra season due to COVID-19.

2. Johns Hopkins alumni sound off in support of former coach Dave Pietramala, who won two national championships at his alma mater before leaving the head coaching position on Tuesday.

3. Speaking of Pietramala, Syracuse legend Gary Gait recounted some of his epic battles against his nemesis in the latest “Overtime with Paul Carcaterra” podcast.

4. In its effort to help lacrosse’s inclusion in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, US Lacrosse’s strategic plan aims to help boost the sport in Southern California.
