Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Tributes from the sports community honoring the victims from the 9/11 terrorist attacks of 20 years ago dominated social media this weekend. USA Lacrosse recognized the 75 known individuals connected to the lacrosse community.

Capping off a week of coverage of some of these individuals, we shared some more of their stories over the weekend.

 

The Virginia men’s lacrosse team was among the teams running steps to remember the victims and to honor first responders and military members.

2. We were thrilled to add Dana Boyle to our content team this spring as she hosted our YouTube show, “No Boundaries.” On Saturday, the former Virginia player and women’s lacrosse television analyst had her first reporting assignment for college football, calling the Rutgers-Syracuse game.

One-time Notre Dame lacrosse commit Jack Coan led the Irish football team to a second straight late-game rally. Even more impressive, Coan shook off an injured finger on the game-winning drive just before his winning touchdown pass against Toledo.
