Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The PLL Championship Game is set.

Waterdogs LC will make its first appearance in the championship game after taking down two-time champion Whipsnakes LC. Despite injuries to multiple key players, Andy Copelan’s team gritted out an 11-10 victory. Click here for the full recap.

In the second game of Sunday’s PLL semifinals, Chaos LC’s defense locked down on a high-powered Archers LC offense en route to a 9-7 victory. After advancing to the playoffs with a losing record for a second straight year, Chaos is headed back to the PLL title game. Click here for more.

2. Trevor Baptiste is the PLL’s Most Valuable Player.

The Atlas LC faceoff star took home the league’s top award on Friday night in Washington, D.C. In nine games this summer, the Atlas LC specialist won 153 of 219 faceoffs (70 percent) with 83 ground balls.

3. Thomas McConvey goes No. 1 overall in the NLL Entry Draft.

McConvey, the fifth-year senior who transferred to Virginia from Vermont this offseason, was selected by the Rochester Knighthawks with the first overall pick. Click here for the full results.

4. Jared Bernhardt has officially suited up in an NFL game.

Although Bernhardt, the former Tewaaraton winner turned wide receiver, didn’t record a catch, he defied the odds by making his NFL debut on Sunday.
