2. All-American Chris Gray will be the focus of many eyes as he moves from Boston University to North Carolina this year. Can Gray be the missing piece of the puzzle for the Tar Heels, which suffered five losses by two goals or less in an 8-7 season in 2019?

WHAT WE’RE READING

• Family and friends remember Emerson goalie Daniel Hollis, who died on Oct. 2.

• Utah assistants Marcus Holman and Will Manny back together in Red, White and Blue at the Fall Classic.

• Inside Lacrosse was on-hand at the University City Classic in Philadelphia and the North Carolina-Ohio State game in Baltimore.

• Eastern Oregon University, an NAIA school, is adding women’s lacrosse beginning with the 2021 season.
