Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. There might be more NFL Lax Dads than we initially thought.

The idea was birthed on Nov. 15, as Matt Hamilton was inspired by Eli Manning’s Twitter post that revealed his status as a Lax Dad. We wanted to put together the de facto list of these NFL players turned lacrosse parents. Thanks to all of your help, we’ve made it happen.

The list is now about 25 players strong with certainly more to add. Check it out here. Did we miss any? Let Matt Hamilton know at mhamilton@uslacrosse.org.

2. Oren Lyons opened up on his service to the United States during the Korean War.

Lyons, one of the most treasured icons in the history of the sport, visited US Lacrosse and the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame earlier this year and spoke with US Lacrosse CEO Steve Stenersen and longtime USL staff member Kira Muller.

He spoke about his first lacrosse idol, his service to the United States and how lacrosse is his unbreakable bond.

More here.

Also in celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the National Lacrosse League shared this intimate one-on-one interview with Franky Brown in which Brown delivers a powerful message about his Indigenous roots.

3. Johns Hopkins players are getting resourceful.

The Blue Jays haven’t been allowed to practice with new head coach Peter Milliman, unlike other Big Ten programs that have had some semblance of a fall routine. Patrick Stevens checked in with Hopkins, which has been kicked off local lacrosse fields by fourth-graders who had signed up to use the field for their own practices.

More on the humble Hopkins men here.
